Mercy Chinwo, a well-known gospel singer from Nigeria, posted on social media to joyfully celebrate her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, receiving an honorary doctorate.

A honorary doctorate degree in Technology Leadership and Innovation was awarded to Pastor Blessed, senior pastor of the Water Brook Church in Lagos, by Myles Leadership University.

Mercy Chinwo, who was overjoyed by her husband’s recent success, congratulated him and showered him with compliments on Instagram.

She reshared her husband’s post and wrote, “Congratulations to you my Gee. Aka Doctor Blessed Uzochikwa Aka Doctor SWEET.”

On his part, Pastor Blessed posted a picture of himself in his PhD graduation gown, posing with his diploma and expressing happiness at getting the degree.

He wrote,

I, DR. BLESSED UZOCHIKWA, am thrilled and humbled to announce that I have received an honorary doctorate degree from Myles Leadership University, a 21st-century university committed to raising and empowering the next generation of change-makers and world leaders.

I am grateful to the university for this honour and to everyone who has supported me along the way.
