King West, the son of former NURTW chairman MC Oluomo, made headlines with his congratulations to his father, Bola Tinubu, who is a fervent supporter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate.

King West shared a video of his father, Oluomo, and other APC supporters jubilating while the results of the presidential elections that took place on Saturday, February 25, are being tallied at the National Collation Center in Abuja. Tinubu of the APC appears to be taking an early lead.

West thanked his father in the caption and mentioned Peter Obi’s victory in Lagos State as the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.

According to West, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC candidate, sacrificed Lagos in order to triumph at the national level.

“Congrats Dad, You all sacrificed Lagos to win Nigeria”, he wrote.
