A Nigerian man, Levi Aondohemba Orhii, has publicly announced that his second wife has reportedly gone on to marry another man in a court wedding.
In a post shared on Facebook, Orhii explained that he traditionally married his second wife, Maris Mngohol Orhii, in July 2014, and that their union produced two daughters.
According to him, the woman has now legally married another man, following their years of traditional marriage.
Despite the development, Orhii said he respects his former wife’s decision and wished her well in the new chapter of her life.
He also stated that both of them are currently working together amicably to ensure the welfare and proper upbringing of their two children.
He wrote:
“The general public is hereby informed that my second wife, formerly addressed as Mrs. Maris Mngohol Orhii, whom I traditionally married in July 2014, is now legally married in court to another man.
“She is to henceforth be addressed as Mrs. Maris Mngohoh Ibrahim Musa Ali.
“Our union was blessed with two beautiful daughters.
“I respect her decision and I wish her well in this new chapter of her life.
“We are currently working together amicably to ensure the welfare and proper care of our innocent children in their father’s house.”
