Man faces ridicule from friends after revealing he washes wife’s underwear

A guy has started a discourse about privacy in relationships after telling how his cousin was unhappy when acquaintances dubbed him a “simp” for washing his wife’s pants.

The man claims that once his cousin expressed dissatisfaction with his friends’ response, he started to wonder how they had found out about such a personal aspect of his marriage.

He recalled asking his cousin, “How did they know that you washed her underwear?”

He claims that his cousin said nothing, which made him wonder why private information about what couples do for one another at home should be shared with strangers.

The man maintained that there was nothing wrong with a husband helping his wife around the house, especially in situations where more assistance is needed.

He used pregnancy as an example, arguing that friends shouldn’t criticise a husband who decides to take care of the kitchen while his wife is pregnant.

He said, “If a man cooks for nine months while his wife is pregnant, I see nothing wrong with that.”

He went on to say that friends are going too far when they condemn a couple’s decision to divide responsibilities

The man stated that couples disclosing needless information about their relationships to others was a greater problem than the argument over cleaning one’s spouse’s pants.

He concluded, “Stop telling people how you relate with your partner at home, and stop telling couples how to live their private lives.”

His remarks focus on upholding boundaries in partnerships and letting couples choose in private how to divide household duties.
