On Thursday, March 9, a Kenyan man from Njabini in Nyandarua County passed away after being electrocuted while trying to vandalise a transformer.

According to a police investigation, the man was electrocuted and flung more than 20 metres from the transformer where his lifeless body was found. It said;

It added; 

“But it is the action of the man’s accomplices whose foot thuds were heard miles away as they escaped from the scene that shocked the villagers, clearly demonstrating that there is no honour among thieves.”

The body of the deceased was moved to Engineer hospital mortuary awaiting identification by family.
