Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain to sign France international Bradley Barcola in a deal that could be worth up to £120 million.
The proposed transfer package is understood to include more than £100 million in guaranteed payments, with performance-related add-ons potentially taking the total value of the deal to around £120 million.
The breakthrough reportedly came after weeks of negotiations between Liverpool and PSG, with the Premier League club working to reduce the French champions’ initial £145 million valuation.
Barcola, 23, has reportedly been Liverpool’s top transfer target for several months as the club looks to replace Mohamed Salah following his move to Trabzonspor.
Liverpool had previously pursued Yan Diomande and saw a bid for the player rejected before he eventually joined Real Madrid.
Negotiations for Barcola have reportedly been led by Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon.
Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 and has established himself as a key player for the Ligue 1 giants. He has made 152 appearances for the club, scoring 39 goals and providing 37 assists.
During his time in Paris, the French winger has reportedly won several major honours, including three league titles, two Champions League trophies and two French Cups.
If completed, Barcola would become Liverpool’s fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo.
