“It’s not that Nigeria can’t work, just that governance is in the hands of w!cked people” — Pastor spits fire

A Nigerian pastor has sparked debate online after declaring that the country’s challenges are not due to a lack of potential but because governance remains in the hands of what he described as “w!cked, selfish and gr33dy people.”

In a viral video circulating on social media, the cleric argued that many of the country’s leaders attained power through questionable means and should not be expected to prioritize the welfare of ordinary citizens.

Speaking on the state of the nation, he said:

“It’s not that Nigeria cannot work, it’s just that governance is in the hands of w!cked, selfish, gr33dy people. You don’t expect a th?ef not to st3al. You don’t expect a wil!cked person to be nice.”

He further added:

“Somebody that can k!ll to get power. You want him to give you life when he gets it?”

Addressing criticism often directed at religious leaders, the pastor maintained that clerics have consistently encouraged Nigerians to participate in the electoral process and make their voices heard through voting.

His remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians agreeing with his assessment of the country’s leadership challenges, while others debated the role of religious leaders in political and social issues.
