He provided evidence to support his claim by comparing the price of a flight leaving Ghana to that leaving Nigeria.

The cost of a flight on British Airways out of Lagos, Nigeria, was $10,345. However, the same day, a trip from Accra, Ghana, to the same place cost $3,720.
