Internet users call Wizkid’s odd advice to wives of struggling spouses “very useless”

He encouraged wives to assign their husbands menial tasks because he is merely a housekeeper and must seek financial assistance to support the family.

Wizkid, a well-known singer from Nigeria, has caused a sensation on social media with his odd advice to women with difficult partners.

The “Made in Lagos” star used Snapchat to urge wives whose husbands need financial assistance to support their family to assign him to menial tasks because he is essentially a house helper.

“Ladiesssss… If ur man out here begging to feed u and ur family since una dey together, make sure him dey wash ur pant/bra and plates for house. That’s ur househelp. Good morning kids,” he wrote on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Online, there have been a variety of responses to this tweet, with some criticizing the author for demeaning the poor because he is well-known and wealthy.

See how some responded below,

However, there have been rumors that he was insulting Mr. Jollof, a well-known comedian, for his recent remark about his planned tour with Davido, his bitter rival, despite their animosity.

Recall that Mr. Jollof claimed that Wizkid was attempting to capitalize on Davido’s celebrity power because Davido’s career was purportedly on the decline.

Wizkid wants to “perch on Davido’s wings to fly,” he had said, because the DMW executive is the “man of the time.”

Netizens believed that Wizkid’s post was a direct attack on Mr. Jollof as a result of this.
