Stella Maris, the wife of Mr. Ibu, has sparked controversy with a viral video in which she issues an apology to the Actor’s Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in response to online accusations.
Initially, Stella expressed regret to AGN for rejecting their assistance due to her husband’s health issues during an interview with Uche Maduagwu. She claimed she was misled into stating that the guild did not help her husband when he was a member.
In a surprising turn, Stella, who is currently entangled in a legal dispute with someone claiming to be Mr. Ibu’s “daughter,” revealed that Kate Henshaw, a public relations representative for AGN, had visited her husband in the intensive care unit.
She admitted to fabricating her previous statement and apologized for lying. Stella did not elaborate on how she was deceived or by whom, but she recounted that Mr. Ibu and Henshaw engaged in conversation and jokes during the visit when he was still talkative.
