A woman has gone viral after a video of her pushing girls to embrace feminism, characterising it as critical for self-protection and empowerment in 2026, leaked online.
The video, published on X (previously Twitter) by @Gidi_Traffic, shows her passionately speaking to young women on the need of recognising feminism in today’s society.
The lady claimed that girls who reject feminism put themselves at risk of being exploited.
According to her, failing to recognise feminism’s role in society qualifies as a “pick-me.”
She went on to say that society, parents, religion, and men may all influence women who are unaware of their rights and the efforts that led to the freedoms they now enjoy.
She went on to say that feminist movements have resulted in women’s current privileges, such as education, financial freedom, and employment prospects.
She warned that dismissing feminism entails ignoring the efforts of people who battled for these chances.

“If you’ve not started practicing feminism as a religion in 2026, and you are a girl, that means you are a pick-me. And guess what? They would pick you. Those men that you are always supporting, they would not just pick you, but they would also use you and dump you. Now, I see the reason why as a girl, you should be saying, ‘Oh, I am not a feminist,’ but yet you have a bank account, yet you go to school, yet you can work. Who are the people that fought for all these things that you are enjoying now? And you wake up one morning and say, ‘Oh, no, you are not a feminist.’ You are just a pick-me. They would pick you, they would use you. You are in a country or a society where society is manipulating you. Men would manipulate you. Your parents would manipulate you. Religion itself would manipulate you. And yet you say you are not a feminist. Okay, be ready, because you are going to get used, and not just used—they will use you and then dump you. At the end of the day, you will become bitter.”
