In advance of the 2027 general elections, Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke has urged Nigerians not to disparage or ridicule her if they witness her supporting or campaigning for a politician.
The actress made the claim in a recent interview when discussing the potential of her openly endorsing political figures. She clarified that doing so should be seen as a part of her attempts to support herself.
Ronke Oshodi claimed that she would support politicians in order to survive, and he advised her supporters to comprehend her stance rather than criticise her for it.
“If you see me endorsing any politician, just know that I’m hustling and doing it for survival. Just look at it as if I’m just looking for a means of survival. Please, don’t drag or insult me,” she said.
