A video of an African man who was taken to a hospital in Qatar and described his experience in a room that resembled a luxury residence rather than a medical ward went viral.
In a video that has gone viral, the man shows viewers his hospital room, beginning with his personal table on one side.
Then he approaches the window and points out the picturesque view while making a joke about how the room feels more like his own house than a surgical facility. “I have my couch. This is my house,” he said, as he gave a full tour of the room, emphasising the comfort and luxury surrounding him.
He kept showcasing the hospital’s views, making the audience giggle as he likened the facilities to upscale living.
He soon revealed chicken and fried rice on his meal plate when he swivelled the camera there.“I just finished eating,” he said with a smile.
Then, using hyperbole and comedy, the man asked the camera if he would ever‘get well soon.’
“So tell me, you think say I will get well soon? Nah, like, I’ll go spend one more year here,” he joked, highlighting how enjoyable the hospital experience had been despite his illness.
