Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, has strongly warned locals against accepting obsolete naira notes.

The governor threatened to deal with any dealer or company that refused to accept the old Naira notes in a tweet on his Twitter account.

“I hereby issue a warning to all retailers, traders, bankers, and gas stations that refuse to accept old naira notes. I will deal with you to the maximum extent of the law if you are reported to me,” he said.
