A newlywed couple reportedly got into an argument just hours after their wedding after the bride received a car as a gift from her brother.
According to a woman who told the story, the automobile was delivered to the bride at the wedding reception, which sparked enthusiasm among those present.
The bride’s brother reportedly handed over the keys to his sister and congratulated her. However, what appeared to be a joyous wedding gift apparently turned into a source of contention when the newlyweds went home.
According to the narrator, the husband became irritated and questioned why the automobile keys were given to his wife rather than him.
When he insisted that he should be the one operating the car, the bride apparently discovered he was serious after initially thinking he was kidding.
The husband told her, “I am the man of this house. I will be the one driving this car to work.”
According to reports, the bride refused to give up the keys and reminded him that her brother had given the car to her especially.
The spouse allegedly ordered that she either return the car or sell it and bring the money home after she refused.
Within hours of their marriage, the bride’s husband accused her of insulting him after she refused once more.
Despite the car being given to the bride directly, the couple reportedly couldn’t agree on who should drive it.
