Alhaji Kamilu Ado Isa, the NNPP candidate for the Wudil/Garko House of Representatives District in Kano state, passed away.
Isa, a former Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), is said to have passed away on February 20 following a brief illness.
Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the party’s presidential candidate, expressed his condolences to Isa’s family and referred to his death as startling and a great void that cannot be filled. Isa, according to Kwankwaso, devoted his time, resources, and energy to the party’s and his local community’s prosperity.
Kwankwaso prayed to God Almighty to pardon his transgressions;
“I am saddened by the loss of Hon. Kamilu Ado Isah, the NNPP House of Representatives Candidate for Wudil/Garko constituency. May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace. My condolence to his family, friends and the NNPP Kano Chapter.”
The deceased has been buried in Kano according to the Islam rites.
