An eligible voter and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) took to social media to express his displeasure after being attacked by thugs while casting his ballot in Lagos state.
In Ijegun, Alimosho, he alleged that men attacked his voting location and chased away all non-Yoruba voters.
Despite showing them his APC membership certificate, he admitted, they still attacked him.
He claimed that when others fled, he stood his ground and tried to battle them alone, but they hurt him.
The APC member claimed that police officers were watching him while he was being attacked and shared a picture of his seriously damaged head.
He said that despite the violent altercation, he was still eligible to cast his vote.
He wrote;
“Yoruba men came to the PU at oba’s compound, Ijegun, Alimosho and chased all non Yorubas away. My APC membership card couldn’t save me. They messed up my head and leg. Men of NPF were watching the fight.
All my cards are always in my wallet. All the half-men scrammed. I stood my ground, fought, got injured, but still voted!”
