Francis, a Nigerian man, has declared he will never get down on one knee to propose marriage to a woman since doing so is not the African way.
He made this comment in response to images of Twitter user Okey proposing to his girlfriend Ezinne.
God forbid that I should be on my knees to propose marriage to a lady. Obulu ogwu oma nle chaachaa (even if it’s juju, it will not work at all at all) That’s not an African style.”
