In ahead of this weekend’s nationwide general elections in Nigeria, actress, producer, and politician Funke Akindele has just made a public appeal.

Since she became the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos’ deputy governorship candidate, Funke Akindele’s coworkers, including her best friend Eniola Badmus, have been divided politically over their support for both presidential and governorship candidates.

Eniola Badmus greeted Funke on her appointment, but the two have avoided each other on social media, especially in remarks made in support of their respective candidates.

Funke Akindele recently shared instructions on how to support her party in the forthcoming election on Instagram.

The mother of two outlined the correct steps to take in order to vote legally for her party.

“The general elections are finally here!!

Yes, we’ve all been sensitized on how important it is for us to vote wisely at a time like this, however, it is also imperative that we all are properly educated on how to make our votes count without errors.

Your votes in the coming election will determine the future of our great country, Nigeria. So let’s make it count!
