Friends commiserate with Nigerian woman whose husband was murdered by kidnappers despite ransom payment

Friends have expressed their condolences to Uba Sandra Chisom following the passing of her husband Henry Ifeka.

In spite of paying the desired money for his release, Henry was reportedly kidnapped during the holidays and slain.

The mother of twins replaced her Facebook cover photo with a picture from their traditional wedding, which took place in Anambra State in 2020, on January 16th, 2023.

Friends who left comments on the page urged her to have courage and prayed for the deceased person’s soul to rest in peace.

“Dear Uba Sandra Chisom. May the Holy Spirit comfort you. I still lack words,” one Ebere Celestine Ikokwu wrote.

Meanwhile, in two deleted Facebook posts posted by a friend, Victor Ogunyemi on January 3, 2023, Sandra mourned her husband.

“They didn’t only kidnap you…we paid the ransom and they still killed you. You couldn’t wait for us to celebrate our 2nd anniversary…you left me in this sinful world, leaving me with our twin babies. God this is hard for me oo…May your killers never go unpunished.” she wrote.
