This request was made by Shatta Wale on March 31 in a post that was published on his Twitter account. He wants the recently elected president of Nigeria to recognize him as his son because, in his opinion, many people have said that he resembles the man.

He published a picture of himself and the incoming president with the caption,
“Your excellency everyone says I look like you ,so please come and take your son from Ghana ok lol … They always say my father won’t come for me ,so please come for me so perform for u one of my songs Thank you My president ,May you live long Dad ”
