Elon Musk asks Twitter users to vote on reinstatement of Donald Trump’s account … See the poll

Elon Musk, the newly appointed owner of Twitter, asked Twitter users a few hours ago if he should reinstate former US President Donald Trump’s account. The response was overwhelmingly positive.

Following the attack on the US Capitol by his supporters that left numerous people dead on January 8th, 2021, the former US president, who had more than 80 million followers, had his Twitter account permanently disabled.

On Friday, November 18, Musk posted a poll on his Twitter page with the question, “Reinstate former President Trump,” and two possible answers: yes or no.

The Twitter boss accompanied it with the words: “Vox Populi, Vox Dei” – a Latin phrase meaning “the voice of the people is the voice of God”.

The poll for now, shows more people want Trump reinstated as it got more Yes than No.
