Media figures Okoeguale Ehizojie, also known as Ehiz, and Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, also known as Do2dtun, have mocked Kiddwayya for his suggestion as to the cause of the passing of South African amapiano singer Costa Titch.

Due to allegations of drug usage, Kiddwaya had resorted to his Instagram page to urge brand management to properly look after its artists and to only allow them to perform when they were in top shape.

In response, Ehiz created a video to warn Kiddwaya—without naming him by name—to refrain from painting Costa as a drug addict.

He claimed that it was unreasonable to assume that Costa led a rock star lifestyle because he hardly ever drank or smoked.

Do2dtun used the microblogging platform to criticize Kidd for speculating about a circumstance and victim he was unaware of.

He tweeted;

“Kiddwaya carried table & chair to analyze a situation you have no privy information about. You are not a doctor; you were not at the show, neither do you even know this guy but you’ve assumed on what might have happened to him..
Verdict: no emotional intelligence and ignorance”
