A fight has ensued between some soldiers attached to the Army Supply and Transport (S&T) Barracks, Ugbowo, Benin City, Edo and students of the University of Benin.
It was gathered that the incident happened inside the school premises after the soldiers had allegedly assaulted students over use one of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) inside the school premises.
In retaliation, the students nearly lynched one of the soldiers to death.
The incident happened on Thursday.
