For constructing a wooden bridge and public restrooms for his residents, he received harsh criticism.

Desmond Elliot recently unveiled the concept behind the wooden bridge project during an interview on TVC’s well-liked breakfast program, Your View.

He claimed that he had gone there to comfort a lady whose 13-year-old daughter had drowned in a canal.

He claimed that the townspeople requested him to assist them in rebuilding the bridge that crossed the canal when they were traveling to Shitta to fetch the girl’s remains.

He said that after giving the community N800,000 for the bridge, they eventually got in touch with him and insisted on having his photo on the bridge as a sign of their appreciation.

Desmond continued by saying that the bridge is no longer in excellent shape and that he has brought it to the state government’s notice so that it may be fixed.
