BBNaija star, Ilebaye Odiniya has become a trending topic online after a disturbing Instagram Live video surfaced overnight showing her crying for help while allegedly being assaulted by a man believed to be her father.
In the viral clips, Ilebaye appeared visibly distressed with what many viewers described as a swollen or bruised face while repeatedly begging for help.
Several Nigerian blogs and social media accounts reported that police officers were allegedly called to the residence but initially could not gain access because the compound gate was reportedly locked.
Some unverified claims circulating online also alleged that her mother had previously left the family home due to domestic violence issues. However, as of now, there has been no official police statement or public response from Ilebaye’s father confirming the allegations.
The incident has triggered major reactions online, with celebrities and former BBNaija stars expressing concern. Leo DaSilva publicly called for friends and law enforcement to help her, while other posts later claimed she had been “rescued” and was safe, though those reports remain unofficial.
