“Breastfeeding was not a beautiful experience for me” Lala Akindoju opens up about struggle that led to her child feeding on formula

Lala Akindoju, an actress, has said that she had such a hard time producing breast milk for her newborn son that she began giving him formula 24 hours after his delivery.

She described how she tried everything she could and ate everything she was told to in order to make enough milk for her baby, but nothing worked.

“It was not a pleasant experience for me to breastfeed.” Lala Akindoju discusses her battle to get her child to eat formula.
She cried and felt guilty, claiming that if her baby is fed formula, he must be deficient in some nutrients.

Relatives advising her to breastfeed and avoid formula didn’t improve matters, according to the movie producer.

With time, she accepted that she couldn’t produce enough milk and she settled on formula for her baby.

She encouraged nursing mothers experiencing the same thing not to beat themselves up, as long as their babies are well-fed and happy.
