Famous Nigerian stand-up comedian Bovi Ugboma has talked freely about his connection with Basketmouth, his more senior colleague.

Bovi revealed that he has broken off his association with Basketmouth in a recent interview with media personality Chude because he has decided that it is now time for him to establish his brand and focus more on himself.

He added that certain people can only push you so far before you have to stand up and advance forward.

Bovi continued by saying that while their earlier excitement was a phase and they are now in new phases, he and Basketmouth are still cool.

He emphasized that his objectives have evolved as he has matured, and that his current goals are to be happy and pursue his interests.
