In the Mokola neighbourhood of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, a newborn infant was discovered dead.
Akinola Olajire, an eyewitness, claimed that the dead body, which had been wrapped in black polythene, had been thrown into a canal before a bridge in the Uncle Joe neighbourhood of Mokola.
According to information obtained, the body may have been dumped in the early morning hours of March 15, 2023, before onlookers arrived.
