A controversial report circulating online has alleged that a prominent billionaire businessman from Southern Nigeria was discovered with his lover’s used sanitary pad hidden inside his pocket.
According to the report, the businessman had allegedly been in a long-term relationship with the woman for over seven years, during which he reportedly funded her lifestyle, sponsored trips abroad, and purchased a house for her in Lagos.
The incident was said to have occurred after the businessman visited the woman at her residence in Ikoyi earlier this year. The lady allegedly noticed that a used sanitary pad she had discarded in her bathroom bin had gone missing after the visit. Suspicious, she reportedly contacted the businessman and asked him to return to the house.
Reports claim that after initially denying involvement, the woman allegedly searched him and discovered the sanitary pad hidden in one of his pockets. She reportedly suspected the act may have been connected to ritual purposes, although no official evidence has been provided to support the allegation.
The situation allegedly escalated afterward, with claims that the businessman attempted to reclaim the house he had gifted her by allegedly forging ownership documents. The woman also reportedly accused associates linked to the businessman of unlawfully entering her apartment and taking valuables, including luxury vehicles, cash, and jewellery.
According to the claims, the woman further alleged that documents relating to the property had been fraudulently altered and re-registered in the businessman’s name. She also claimed that her family had faced threats and intimidation and expressed fears for her safety.
Reports further stated that the matter is allegedly being investigated by the Special Fraud Unit in Ikoyi, while the businessman is said to have gone into hiding. The woman reportedly left the country and engaged lawyers to seek justice through the police investigation.
