The Bank of Ghana has cautioned the public against the undeclared importation and exportation of foreign currency.

The central bank in a statement issued by its Secretary, Mrs Frances Van-Hein Sackey cautioned that failure to declare at the point of entry or exit will be liable to a seizure or penalty of all the monetary instruments that may be subjected to criminal prosecution.
