A lady has caused debate by stating that guys who can cook and do housework are “red flags” in partnerships.
According to her, such guys frequently demand their girlfriends to entirely rely on them while avoiding commitment when it comes to formalising the relationship.
Speaking on the matter, she said, “Any man wey sabi cook na red flag o. Man wey sabi cook ogbono soup, egusi soup, rice and stew, jollof rice and you dey inside that kin relationship with that guy? He no go marry you. If you try to talk, he’ll tell you dey go. Wetin you sabi wey I no sabi. Man wey sabi wash hin cloth, auntie na red flag o. You dey on your own. He no go ever marry you o.”
Her comments drew reactions on social media, with some users agreeing that men should prioritise their careers and stability, while others criticised her broad claims, citing examples of relationships in which men who cook and clean are happy and dedicated partners.
