Anthony Joshua, a heavyweight boxer, has stirred some discussion online after he made out like a bandit with sportscaster Laura Woods during a live interview.

Following his Saturday fight with American opponent Franklin, Joshua claimed a second victory, this time by a unanimous verdict of the judges.

When Laura, 35, went to interview Joshua after his triumph instead of iFL co-founder Kugan Cassius, who typically does so, he was in an unusually laid-back frame of mind.

Laura and the boxer were conversing in a close proximity on the sofa as the boxer kept his eyes firmly set on Laura throughout their conversation.

Joshua began by praising her career to date and remarking that it had “blossomed brilliantly exactly like her.” He continued by questioning her further about herself and her private life.

The Nigerian boxer captivated Laura as well, and she took advantage of the opportunity to inquire about his ideal date. He revealed that Laura was her.

She enthusiastically reacted to this, which prompted Anthony to inquire about her romantic status: “Are you taken? Are you dating anyone? and she affirmed that she is not married.

Laura remarked that Joshua and she “had so much in common” after Joshua confessed that he is unmarried and went on to explain why he is not in a committed relationship.
