Award-winning afrobeat musician Burna Boy, real name Oluwadamini Ogulu, returns to social media for the first time since his Grammy loss.

On February 5, 2023, Burna Boy lost in two of the categories for which he was nominated.

Burna Boy’s Last Last was defeated by Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikode from South Africa to win the award for Best Global Music performance.

Burna Boy’s “Love Damini” album also failed to take home the trophy for best Global Music Album. The musician has seen opposition supporters making fun of him.

The musician, who hasn’t been active on social media, has updated his post with fresh images. “Odogwu” has been praised by the audience in the comments.
