A young man has made a plea to Nigerians for assistance after losing a sizable sum of money to sports betting.

In a video that was uploaded online, he showed a snapshot of the virtual bet slip and revealed that he had wagered N278,000 on 1.06 odds.

The man claimed he had been given the cash to run errands, but he had ultimately chosen to use it to try and make some more cash, which had not gone well.

He posted a plea for assistance on his social media account after losing the money from the sports wager.

He begged Olamide, Talented, the Mayor of Ekiti, and other seasoned sports wagerers to help me.
