Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, retaliated against Wale Akerele, a social media influencer, for referring to her as a “ashawo” (prostitute) because she supported Peter Obi for president.
It’s no secret that the Yoruba actress has endured a number of verbal abuses and threats since she announced her support for Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party (LP), ahead of the next election in February.
The mother of two announced this in a lengthy message on her official Instagram page, where she also issued a warning to internet users to avoid harassing celebrities who disagree with their views.
Despite her cries for calm, Wale Akerele, a well-known social media influencer, called her out and insulted her for selecting Peter Obi over Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Asiwaju).
Wale Akerele further called Iyabo Ojo, a prostitute over her choice of candidate. Sharing his post and slamming him in response, the actress wrote:
“Who is this one, animal, place, or thing……….. Akowere, trust me, you’re a product of Alasewo bcos your mother, wife & sidehens are all bonafide memebers.”
