
Police are holding an actor in connection with June 2018 rape incident at the Moi Girls’ in Nairobi.
The suspect was arrested in Nairobi on Tuesday after the victim identified him while acting at a school in the city where there was drama session.
The suspect who is yet to be identified was produced in court and police granted 10 days to hold him as further investigations go on.
The victim spotted him on stage and later alerted her friends and police. Detectives arrested the man and took him for an identification parade at the Kilimani Police Station where he was reportedly positively identified.
He is set to undergo a number of tests and identification parade as part of investigations into the saga.
Police intend to conduct forensic analysis including DNA tests on him to establish if he was involved in the saga.
