A young Nigerian woman who lives in the US has turned to TikTok to lament the difficulties and expenses of living abroad.

Speaking in a now-viral video, the woman claimed that if she had known beforehand how much labour it would take to make ends meet, she wouldn’t have migrated abroad.

She claimed that she had a more pleasant life in Nigeria than she does now, and if she had known better, she would not have left the nation.

However, she added that despite the fact that living conditions abroad are undoubtedly superior to those in Nigeria, she is not attempting to discourage people from travelling there.
