A student of Abia State Polytechnic Aba identified as Chisom has allegedly stabbed his brother, Joseph to death over N500 in the commercial city.

Trouble was said to have started when the undergraduate went to their mother’s shop and demanded for N500, which Joseph refused giving him, but rather referred him to their mother who was absent from the shop at the moment.

This however did not go down well with Chisom who was said to have walked him in anger, waiting the arrival of his brother Joseph.

Chisom was said to have confronted his brother over his refusal to give him the N500 which he had demanded.

As the argument heightened, the suspect was said to have used an already waiting sharpened knife to stab his brother, killing him on the spot.

The suspected killer was apprehended and handed over to the police for further investigation.

Chisom was apprehended by residents the following morning and was later handed over to the police.

The body of the deceased was seen lying on the floor beside Chisom as they were both surrounded by curious onlookers.
