Fr Ejike Mbaka, a Catholic priest, has thrown his weight behind Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.

On Wednesday, June 15, Fr. Mbaka told members of his church that a stingy man cannot be Nigeria’s president. Nigerians, he claims, are starving and in need of a generous man.

”A stingy man cannot be our President. We are very hungry. We need a generous person. Nigerians are hungry. Are we not hungry?”he asked
