“A lot of people go into marriage and relationships without including God” – Woman says

A Nigerian woman has urged people to put God at the centre of their relationships and marriages, noting that many couples struggle because they ignore faith, emotional maturity, and personal accountability.

In a video shared online, she warned that choosing the wrong partner can affect a person’s future and even hinder their dreams.

She faulted people who walk out of relationships blaming their ex-partners, without reflecting on how their own behaviour may have contributed to the fallout.

According to her, many people enter new relationships carrying unresolved trauma and bitterness because they never took time to heal.

She also questioned why couples resort to insults, disrespect, and threats of divorce during arguments instead of communicating calmly and settling their differences.

She stressed that relationships should be enjoyable, not a constant battleground, and advised people to work on themselves before seeking a partner.

She further encouraged singles to choose partners who share their values, show emotional intelligence, treat others with respect, and have the fear of God.

“If you are searching for a good partner, you have to be the reflection of what you are looking for,” she said.
