One Ibrahim Musa, aged 22 is presently cooling off in prison for allegedly killing his mother, one Hajara Mohammed, aged 50 in Kano State.
The incident happened on Wednesday, May 3 at Rimin Kebe Quarters, Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano.
According to reports, the suspect at around 6pm that Wednesday evening allegedly stabbed his mother with a sharp knife on different areas of her body resulting to several injuries.
It was gathered that the mother was rushed to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital where she was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.

Musa was arrested and charged with standing culpable homicide.
Musa was on Tuesday remanded in a correction centre by a Senior Magistrates’ Court sitting in Kano.
The Prosecution Counsel, Mrs Rabi’a Sa’ad, told the court that the suspect was guilty of the crime however, he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Senior Magistrate Ibrahim Almustafa-Kofarmata, ordered that the case file be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecution ( DPP) for legal advice and adjourned the matter until June 27, for further hearing.
