Latasha Ngwube, a media personality, has criticized her male coworker, Frank Edoho, for criticizing Southeast politicians who openly criticize Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour party, in a recent tweet.
Less than 48 hours prior to Edoho’s statement, Charles Soludo, the governor of Anambra state, had insulted Peter Obi and declared that he would never win the 2023 presidential election. Since this is the first time the Igbo people have the extremely rare opportunity to have one of them become president, Edoho thought it was improper for a fellow Igbo man to speak against another Igbo man’s aspiration.
”Igbo politicians will never stop baffling me. You have the rare opportunity of one of your kin being President but instead of supporting and clamoring for him like Yoruba and Hausa people do with their candidates, you look for ways to disrupt and thwart him! Tufia Kwa!” Frank wrote on Twitter
Latasha felt Frank’s comment was tribalistic and has asked him to stop making such statement. See her reaction to his post below
