Police officers prevent man from jumping into Lagos Lagoon

On Friday, July 22, members of the Lagos State Police Command’s Rapid Response Squad stopped a 29-year-old man named Dauda Yakub from diving into the Lagos Lagoon.

The police officers noticed Yakub lounging on the railing as they were patrolling the Third Mainland bridge. He was able to be dissuaded by the cops from diving.

Later, the Adekunle Police Station received him so they could reconcile him with his family.
