As a result of wearing a skirt to work since the organization that he works for prohibits males from wearing shorts despite the summer’s sweltering heat, a man who goes by the name Jesse Thomas on social media has become an Internet sensation.
A phenomenon known as a “apocaplypse” has caused one of the hottest summers on record in various parts of the world, including the UK.
Royal Air Force Airport’s runway “melted” as a result of the intense summer heat wave.
The heat has forced Brists to dress in less clothing as they swapped their suits for shorts in an effort to cope with the heat wave.
However, Thomas’ employer decided to forbid shorts, so he found a way to protest the decision by donning a skirt.
On Twitter, he posted a picture of himself wearing a shirt tucked inside a skirt.
Posting the picture, read what he wrote below; “Work dress code states no shorts.”
In response to the extreme heat, the Met Office for the first time issued a “Red warning.”
Read what Paul Gundersen who is the Met Office Chief Meteorologist said in a statement:
“It is important people plan for the heat and consider changing their routines. This level of heat can have adverse health effects.”
