The new vice presidential candidate of Bola Tinubu, Kashim Shettima, has taken a swipe at the Labour Party’s presidential aspirant, Peter Obi.
While speaking on Channels TV Politics Today programme on Friday, July 15, he said some strong words against Peter Obi’s presidential ambition. He said the former Anambra Governor, Peter Obi, could only be president in Igboland, not in Nigeria.
The former Borno governor has joined the list of Nigerians who claim that Peter Obi and his party do not have the structure to win the 2023 election. He even added that the former governor does not have the necessary experience to lead the country.
As expected, Shettima has spoken in favour of Bola Tinubu. He said he is a unifier and the right person to continue the legacy that President Muhammadu Buhari will leave behind when his tenure elapses in 2023.
Shettima said the country does not need an inexperienced person like Peter Obi. He said the country is too big for Peter Obi to handle. He also claimed that Peter Obi would take Nigeria back to the deplorable state the PDP left it in.
