A baby factory in Okpanam, Delta State, has been discovered by the police. It is believed to be in the Obodogba community.
Three pregnant women were saved when men from the state investigation department stormed the baby factory in Okpanam community, Oshimili North LGA, according to a statement issued by DSP Bright Edafe, spokesperson for the state police command.
Two suspects were detained, according to Edafe, who identified them as Promise Ejogu (m), 25, and Aruna Sulieman (m), 29.
He mentioned that one of the accused, Promise Ejogu, is related to the syndicate’s ringleader and performs sex acts on these ladies in order to get them pregnant.
”They are currently in custody while effort is on to arrest the other members of the syndicate.” Edafe said
