Ejine Okoroafor, an actress, describes a near-death encounter with a tricyclist in Enugu.

Ejine Okoroafor, a well-known Nollywood actress, was admitted to the hospital on Monday, July 11 after nearly averting death at the hands of a commercial tricycle rider in Enugu state.

Ejine Okoroafor described her encounter with the tricycle rider in a 14-minute video, saying that on the way home from somewhere, she almost got kidnapped.

She claimed that when she boarded a tricycle following her completion of filming at a location, she was her route to her hotel. When the trike rider chose to stop for gas on their journey, she claimed she started to feel nervous.

After she expressed her displeasure, she stated the man became agitated and continued driving while muttering to himself. She pleaded with him to leave her because she claimed to be terrified. It is said that the driver declined and continued, helping the woman despite it being a “Sit at home” day.

She claimed that she jumped off the tricycle for her safety. Her gym bag was still attached to a portion of the trike at this point, and the driver continued to move forward while pulling her along.

Ejine claimed that the vehicle did not pull over until others rushed to her assistance and yelled for him to do so. She claimed that when locals came to her aid, her location manager was contacted and arrived to transport her to the hospital.
