After three months in captivity following the Kaduna train incident, Ango Abdullahi’s son Sadiq appears completely different.

Sadiq Angp, the son of Ango Abdullahi, the convener of the Northern Elders’ Forum, who was abducted from a train in Kaduna on March 28, has finally been liberated from captivity, but regrettably, he appears to be a shell of the man he once was.

On July 9, 2022, Sadiq was one of seven kidnapped passengers who were freed by the terrorists.

Recall that Abdullahi, who secured the PDP nomination for the Kaduna legislative election while held captive, pleaded with the Federal Government to step in, claiming that the majority of the 62 victims of the abduction were ill, in a video that was made public in May.

Read his post below;

“We have been here for 62 days. Most of us here are sick and we are not in good condition. Everyday, the situation gets deteriorates. We are appealing to the Federal Government to come to our aid before we start losing our lives.”

Only 7 of the 62 abducted victims were released. They are Bosede Olurotimi, Abubakar Zubairu, Alhassan Sule, Sadiq Ango Abdullahi. Others are Muhammad Daiyabu Paki, Aliyu Usman & the only foreign national of Pakistani origin, Dand r. Muhammad Abuzar Afzal.
