Doyin Okupe submits letter of withdrawal as Peter Obi’s running mate to INEC, says a replacement will be announced shortly

Doyin Okupe has said that he has given the Independent National Electoral Commission a letter of withdrawal from the Labour Party and from becoming Peter Obi’s running partner.

Okupe revealed that the Labour Party Chairman will soon make a replacement announcement.

The Peter Obi Campaign Organization’s director general tweeted;

This afternoon I submitted my withdrawal letter from the position of the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party to INEC.A replacement will be announced by d national chairman of d party shortly.I feel greatly blessed to hv been part of the foundation of success 4 the LP
